Louis Vuitton is finding it’s way into the Gen Z marketplace. ⁣

According to Piper Jaffray’s recent study, “Taking Stock With Teens” which polled 9,500 teens about their favorite brands – 14% of them named Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton was second to only Michael Kors, who secured 27% of the vote. ⁣

This may seem like a large gap between the two top brands, however at this time last year the survey reported that only 9% of the teens named Louis Vuitton, whereas Michael Kors is showing a 1% decrease in market share. ⁣

Louis Vuitton’s growth in popularity among young people can likely be contributed to their new and untraditional products, younger celebrity endorsements, and growing social media presence with a current Instagram following of almost 35 million. ⁣

ForwardPMX recently named Louis Vuitton the most searched fashion brand among Gen Z – with a 15% mindshare. ⁣

So what does this mean for Luxury shoppers and collectors around the world? ⁣

It’s likely that Louis Vuitton, who has held strong for some 165 years already, will remain a smart investment with growing popularity and demand for years to come. ⁣
